Meet Angela! Growing up, she was never the gym class hero or the athletic wonder girl ... EVER! She has stated that she was slow, an awkward runner, not competitive, and was always picked last for teams in school ... and definitely never able to climb that stupid rope in gym class. Fast forward to her late 20's, a big, bald meathead of a guy sat down at the bar where she worked. She had a crush, a big one! In order to get to know him better, she plated the "we should work out sometimes" card. He took her to a nitty gritty, 24 hour dingy gym in Mt. Washington. She walked in not knowing a damn thing about what she just got into.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months - she kept going with him and listening and watching. She loved learning how to lift heavy sh*t from her fellow trainees. She became stronger mentally, her confidence grew, she felt better, and she wanted more! She realized that "feeling better" was for anyone and everyone, and she wanted to give that feeling to people.
She paid her dues and got certified as a nationally recognized personal trainer at the age of 29, through ACSM. So, here we are 10 years later, and she is still crushing it as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Trainer. Schedule your first group class with her today!
